This spring, the NDSA testing window is from March 13 to May 4, 2022.
The North Dakota Department of Public Instruction (NDDPI) and NDIT-EduTech are working together to provide updated information, training, and support to schools for administering the North Dakota State Assessment.
NDSA preparedness training provides Tech Coordinators, Testing Administrators, and District Test Coordinators with resources to administer the North Dakota State Assessment. Upon completion of this training, participants will understand where to obtain appropriate resources, how to set up students and staff, and how to administer testing sessions.
This training is funded by NDDPI, and there is no charge for participants.
Define roles within TIDE
Demonstrate how to set up and administer a testing session
Explore the reporting system and learn how to generate simple reports
Explore, in depth, the NDSA portal and learn where necessary resources are located within the portal
Inform tech coordinators of updates to technological specifications for setting up testing devices and understand operating system requirements for downloading and running the secure browser
Learn about the various universal tools available to students within the tests
Learn best practices for prepping students and staff to ensure a seamless testing experience
Understand how to access the TIDE system and what abilities you have within the TIDE system based on your role
Understand the different question types throughout the various tests
Understand what role rosters play in relation to the ability to view test results
