SLDS - 201 Putting Action into Practice - Data Driven Decision Making

Participants will access the State Longitudinal Data System (SLDS) to begin developing the mindset needed to effectively utilize educational data to impact student achievement and school improvement processes. What is an operational question and a tool, the A+ Inquiry wheel, used to answer operation questions, will be discussed. Definitions of an assessment literate administrator, teacher, and student will be shared. Time will be available to collaborate with your team on what data questions you have and how they might be answered. RECOMMENDED: A team of at least three people from your district/school and at least ONE has to have had SLDS 101 training previously.
