In-Person Finals
The 2024 Cyber Madness High School Tournament final round took place on February 15th-16th at Bismarck State College. 19 Teams competed representing 11 High Schools from all across the state of North Dakota.
For the 2024 competition, Palo Alto Networks hosted a Cloud Security based competition. A new course, labs, and competition assessments were released for teams to prepare.

Virtual Round:
The 2024 Cyber Madness High School Tournament began with the Virtual Play-In Rounds held on January 18-19th. During this round, 23 teams representing 14 schools competed to determine who would move ahead to the finals.

Virtual Badge
Students participating throughout the competition will be awarded a virtual badge signifying they have engaged in the ND High School Cyber Madness event, which is based on content from the Palo Alto Networks Network Security Fundamentals online course. The competition tested material in the areas of:

- Packet Encapsulation and Lifecycle
- Network and Endpoint Security Technologies
- Networking and Security Principles
