North Dakota Information Technology congratulates Bismarck High School on taking first place at the 2025 North Dakota High School State Cybersecurity Tournament.

PowerSchool has identified a nationwide breach involving their customer support portal, PowerSource. PowerSchool has assured North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) that the incident has been contained, and they are working closely with cybersecurity experts and law enforcement to address the situation.  

North Dakota Information Technology (NDIT) EduTech is driving innovation to kick off Hour of Code, a series of statewide school visits during Computer Science Education Week, officially proclaimed by Gov. Burgum for December 9-15, 2024, in North Dakota.

The two-day event held at Bismarck State College welcomed nineteen teams representing eleven high schools located across the state.

Thirty-six teams composing of fifteen schools from across the state competed in a virtual first round, with the top eleven teams competing in-person at the University of Mary in Bismarck.
